I present a cheaper living draft dodger than the one recommended by Crunchy Chicken. A couple more "draft dogs" convinced to lay next to ice-cold doors and we'll be set for the winter.
Hilarious. Hey, I can do you one better: we put a towel beneath our front door, and it has now become one of our dog's favorite places to sleep. So we have a draft dodger on top of a draft dodger. Ha!
Krista, she's a cutie and she likes to lay on my pile of yard sale quilt to be washed...which I guess is better than her laying on the ones that have already been cleaned. ;-)
Yes, Katie, we have to feed her but we'd do that anyway. I guess now we could say she's actually earning her keep?
Oh, you're so lucky! My dog won't go near the drafty spots...he has been following me around our chilly house, shivering and looking generally pathetic...especially when I try to warm him up with a little puppy sweater. You'd think it was some sort of medieval torture, the way he whines... :)
I personally think she's a total goof for laying next to the ice cold French door. One side of her will be nice and toasty warm while the other side, next to the door, is icy.
Crunchy, almost anything would be cuter than that. ;-)
How adorable! Way cuter than my cut up old quilt!
ReplyDeleteDarn! While this was loading I imagined leaving a snarky quip about my dog laying in front of the door, then the picture loaded.
ReplyDeleteBut you still have to feed a dog....so I guess that counts as maintenance fees...?
Katie

Melinda, you win!

ReplyDeleteThat is absolutely adorable! And much more cute than the Dick Cheney Door Plug.
