She is very sad to be back in an e-collar following the removal of a hard dark mass on her back haunch. The collar gets in the way of her duties such as draft dodger and potector from vicious kitties.
How is she supposed to roll on her back for belly scratches with all these staples in the way?
She doesn't like it when we call her Frankendog. Her parents were very

Oh poor baby. She looks sad, but then who wouldn't with a collar like that on. Hope she is feeling better.
Oh, Angel :(
Kelsey (my shih tzu) sends her love and wishes to get better. She knows all about the evil vet, "Whatever you do, Angel, don't let 'em poke your bum." -- Kelsey
(she's notorious at our vet for clenching her butt cheeks so tight they can't get the thermometer in) he he...
Awwwww. But the fun comes when you DO call her Frankendog... and they give you the big goofy grin because they know they can't stop you. :)
Oh goodness! I hope she feels better soon! Dogs do get benign lumps and bumps all the time, and it's more likely that it was nothing than that it was something, but I know the wait for the results is not fun.
Angel says thank you for the well wishes but where are the treats?!
The vet was concerned about the lump because it was hard (unlike a normal cyst) and had darkened over the entire surface (unlike a normal cyst). Hopefully, it's just an abnormal cyst. :)
She looks so dejected, I'm sure you feel anxious and I hope the good news that it's nothing arrives soon.
Poor Puppy! Hope Angel gets better fast and you give her lots of dog treats!
I hope she gets to feeling better soon!
Tara wants to lick your poor puppy. Juke has a huge hole under his chin ~ it looks like a burst cyst, except he didn't have one & Tara keeps licking it for him. The babies confuse her as they're still so tiny, not like the Lurcher babies she took on & they're confused by 2 look-a-like mummies ~ 1 18" high & the other 3', so they can't reach her non existent milk! All my doggies feel so sorry for Angel having to go to the "Butcher" & hope she's better soon.
awww poor puppy! Hopefully it's nothing serious! Doggy love from my two spotty monsters to Angel! xx
To be honest, she doesn't act like she's in pain and I'm not sure she's sleeping much more than normal. (Lazy dog...)
She doubts, however, that her mom will actually bake her treats from scratch. Use real liver? Bleck!
Poor Angel. I hope she gets a good report from the vet in time for the holidays. Skye-Bird Molekiller and the rest of the family sends get well wishes.

I hope you get good news soon about angel, Chile.

Poor Baby. She looks despondent. My Boston Terrier Roo hates those collars. We had to put one on her before going to a baseball game a couple of years ago and when we got home she was sitting in the same spot as we left her but the collar was all screwed up! I hope the news is good for Angel!
Jenifer, your story reminded me of an e-collar incident from years ago. We had two dogs at the time and lived remotely. The younger dog had an e-collar on following getting spayed. One day we were gone for a little while but left the dogs out in their small fenced yard. When my husband returned, the e-collar was filled with quail feathers. We never did figure out which dog caught the quail, but apparently the cone made by the collar was good for holding the feathers as they ate it!
As far as we know, that's the only bird they ever killed. (Thank goodness.)
That just looks painful. I had staples like that after having a baby, but I got some very good drugs. Hope she got the same.
