I hope you write about going to this!

Carrboro, NC, also has a really free market - coming up on the 5th anniversary! It's the first Saturday of every month. I have never been, but maybe I'll check it out and see if I have anything I can offer.

how exactly will the earth be saved by this?

the earth doesn't need to be saved. perhaps we humans do, but sharing stuff will hardly save us either.

Kale - not much more to write about since the last one (see here). My schedule was pretty booked so I just dropped some things off this time. The two organizers told me there had been quite a bit of good stuff that had already come and gone.

Nomikins - this one is going to run the 3rd Saturday of every month.

Anonymous - I don't think just sharing stuff will "save the earth" but it will keep it out of the landfills. Not all the wording on the notice was my choice.

did you go to the event for Tuscon Solar Cookers the same weekend?

Nancy - not only was the event the same weekend, it was even in the same city park. Regrettably, I was not able to go because my sweetie had to go out of town for family. My bike is not set up to haul a trailer yet so I couldn't transport my solar oven to the park. This is the second solar cooking event I've missed due to family obligations. Hopefully that situation will soon be settled so I don't have to keep cancelling at the last minute!
