Bad Timing

We've been so engrossed in moving, settling in, and doing repairs, that I've missed a number of good events lately. Often weeks go by without anything happening locally that really pulls at me. In the past few weeks, though, there have been multiple events that I would have liked to attend. I didn't because I was so busy that I didn't have time, or in some cases, I plumb forgot.

What have I missed?
Most of these are annual events so maybe I'll be more organized by next year and can go to them.

Tucson has a cyclovia? *sob* when will San Diego get one??? On the other hand, I guess I have a reason to visit you again next April...

It was the first year for it. I'm pretty surprised San Diego doesn't do it.

You'll catch up and you're doing a wonderful job keeping everyone informed. (Something others may not be doing...) So, give yourself a break.

I'm trying to organize a solar cooking event for August 1st in this neck of the woods. Will keep you posted...

Events tend to be like that. I seem to see the write up for events with photos of how it went :) Especially if it was something I really wanted to go to.

Oh well....next year, like you said...

Sharlene - I had the clipping for the Master Gardener sale cut out for over a month. Was very bummed it didn't work out to go, but we're really not ready to be putting stuff in the ground yet anyway.

Viv - yeah, me too. Unlike the plant sale, I'd be planning to attend the annual solar cooking picnic for the past 12 months...since barely missing the last one.
