Winter Wonderland

We woke up this morning to a beautiful snow-covered landscape.

Don't the desert mesquite trees just look gorgeous covered in snow?

Just for Wendy, here is a picture of our bamboo.

The dogs seemed unfazed by the white stuff.

Although they did seem more playful this morning.
Note the bench with the chard garden to the left.

Check out Angel catchin' some air! Not a single paw touching the ground. Don't believe me? Click on the photo and see.

Melted snow is good water ... :).

I love the pictures - especially the ones of your puppies playing in the snow ;). We have two to four months of snow coverage up here, which makes the fact that I like snow a good thing. Otherwise, I'd probably not be very happy :).

Wow you guys really did get it. They are calling for a 70% chance of less than one inch...so that means we are guaranteed to get no snow. It was snowing an hour ago but not anymore. Oh well...back outside for me...Get to work!

Very Pretty snow and wonderful pic of Angel.

I am at best a transitory snow gal. I enjoy the occasions where it happens round here but I am more than happy that on average it only happens every other year... and stick around for less than a day.

Kind Regards
Belinda

By 10 this morning, all the snow was gone from the trees. By 2 this afternoon, every single last bit was gone from the ground, too. Oh well, at least the mountains still look pretty.

Nice and chilly chile :)

We only get snow about every other year and also only for the odd morning.

I'm hoping for a good end to summer here - there are still things that need to grow a lot more yet.
